The Eaton SRSHELF2P1USHRT is a SmartRack 1U Cantilever Fixed Steel Rack Shelf designed to support non-rack-mount equipment such as monitors, wireless access points, tower units, routers and other IT equipment. Eaton identifies the product as part of its Tripp Lite series.
The shelf occupies 1U of standard EIA 19-inch rack space and has a 7-inch-deep vented design that promotes airflow around installed equipment. Its heavy-duty cold-rolled steel construction supports a maximum load of 40 lb. (18 kg). It is compatible with both 2-post and 4-post racks and includes the required mounting hardware.
Two SRSHELF2P1USHRT shelves can also be installed back-to-back to create a deeper shelf while using the same 1U rack space, making it suitable for compact server rooms, network closets and data-center installations.
