The APC APDU10351SM is a switched and metered rack power distribution unit designed for dense rack environments where both remote outlet control and comprehensive power metering are required. IT infrastructure, data center, and network power teams deploy this PDU in cabinets feeding servers, network systems, storage, and appliances that benefit from per‑outlet control while monitoring load trends, current draw, and phase balance. Its combination of switching and metering enables automated outlet cycling, sequenced power‑up, and load awareness without the need for physical access.

Configured for 208 V AC three‑phase input with a 30 A feed, the APDU10351SM supports up to 8.6 kW (8600 VA) of load capacity distributed through a dense array of receptacles. The unit’s switched outlets can be turned on/off individually or in groups through remote management interfaces, assisting in rapid recovery of hung devices or controlled startup sequences after maintenance events. Metered aggregation gives real‑time visibility into volts, amps, kW, and energy consumption, aiding capacity planning and imbalance detection.

The zero‑U vertical mount form factor installs alongside standard 19‑inch rack posts without consuming usable rack unit space, preserving room for active gear in enterprise, colocation, branch, and edge racks.
