Overview

The APC APDU9967 is a high‑capacity switched power distribution unit engineered for dense rack environments requiring remote outlet control, sequencing, and advanced power management. Infrastructure teams and data center operators deploy this model where granular per‑outlet control and remote management of equipment power is essential to support servers, networking devices, storage systems, and other high‑density loads. Its switched design enables operators to power‑cycle hung devices or enforce controlled startup/shutdown sequences without physical rack access.

Configured for 208 V AC three‑phase input, this PDU can support a total load capacity of up to 17.3 kW, making it suitable for high‑power rack circuits in enterprise, colocation, and hyperscale data centers. It distributes power through 42 IEC 60320 C13/C15 outlets and 6 IEC 60320 C19/C21 outlets, accommodating both standard and higher thermal rating cords. The zero‑U vertical form factor mounts alongside rack posts without consuming rack units, preserving usable vertical space for active equipment.

Remote management and control interfaces include SNMP, Redfish, and Web-based Ethernet access, enabling integration with infrastructure management platforms for real‑time monitoring, alerting, and control.
