Overview

The APC NBRK0250 is a rack‑mounted environmental and physical security monitoring appliance for IT cabinets, server rooms, and data centers. It combines environmental sensing with rack access and alerting functions to detect temperature, humidity, leak, smoke, vibration, and door breaches. The unit supports wired and wireless sensors, and exposes status and events over standard network protocols such as SNMP and HTTP/S for integration into management systems. It occupies 1U of rack space and is used where proactive site monitoring and notification reduce downtime risk.
