Overview   

The APC AP8641 is a high-density, zero-U rack power distribution unit (PDU) offering both per-outlet metering and switched control. It accepts a 30 A input and provides 21 C13 plus 3 C19 receptacles, allowing fine-grained power management of server and networking gear. Administrators can remotely monitor usage and toggle individual outlets to reboot hung devices without accessing the rack physically. Use it in data center racks, telecom closets, or edge enclosures to optimize power footprint and remote control capabilities. The unit integrates into APC’s power infrastructure as a 2G generation rack PDU and supports high-voltage environments (200–230 V).
