Overview

The APC AP8441 is a metered‑by‑outlet rack power distribution unit (PDU) designed for structured AC power distribution and detailed load monitoring in data center and enterprise rack environments. It is deployed by data center electrical engineers, network administrators, and IT infrastructure teams to distribute three‑phase utility power while providing individual outlet metering, enabling precise visibility into power usage per device. This PDU does not provide UPS backup or surge suppression; its role is to supply and monitor AC power to connected equipment.

This model accepts 200 V / 208 V / 230 V AC input and supports a 30 A continuous current rating via a NEMA L6‑30P plug, yielding approximately 4.99 kVA total load capacity. Power is distributed through 24 IEC outlets — 21 IEC 60320 C13 and 3 IEC 60320 C19 — accommodating racks with a mix of servers, switches, storage arrays, and other devices requiring quality 208 V power feeds.
