Overview

The APC AP7553 is a basic rack power distribution unit that delivers single-phase AC power from a high-current branch feed to multiple rack-mounted devices. It accepts a 32 A, 230 V input and distributes power through a mix of twenty IEC-60320 C13 and four IEC-60320 C19 receptacles for servers, storage, and networking gear. The Zero U vertical form factor mounts in the rear channel of standard 19″ racks, preserving usable rack space for active equipment. It is used in data centers, telecom closets, and enterprise racks needing unmanaged, high-density outlet distribution.
