Overview

The Eaton 4POSTRAILSM is a Tripp Lite by Eaton SmartRack 4-post rack-mount installation kit designed to provide additional side support for compatible UPS systems and other heavy networking or power-protection equipment installed in EIA-standard 4-post racks. The kit uses two L-shaped brackets that attach to the outside edges of the rack's vertical mounting rails.

The Tripp Lite 4POSTRAILSM supports equipment weighing up to 250 lb. (113.4 kg) and is designed for rack mounting depths from 16.5 to 21.5 inches. Its side-mounted configuration leaves the front and rear rack mounting holes available for equipment installation.

The kit can also support other heavy networking or power-protection equipment with a 17.5-inch-wide rectangular chassis. Square-hole rack attachment hardware is included.
