Overview

The Eaton SR12UBFFD is a 12U industrial-grade rack enclosure engineered for protecting rack-mounted equipment in harsh operating environments exposed to dust, debris, moisture, and vibration. It is designed for industrial networking, automation, edge computing, and utility infrastructure deployments where standard IT racks are insufficient.

This enclosed SmartRack cabinet supports up to 1000 lbs stationary load capacity and accommodates standard 19-inch rack equipment with adjustable mounting depths from 3 to 32.5 inches. The enclosure includes four high-performance intake fans, a removable dust filtration system, locking side panels, and a louvered front door to maintain airflow while protecting installed hardware from contaminants. The cabinet complies with IP54 environmental protection standards.

The unit is commonly deployed in factories, warehouses, construction facilities, utility plants, transportation systems, and industrial edge locations requiring localized IT infrastructure protection. Integrated cable entry ports maintain environmental resistance while simplifying network and power cable routing. The enclosure ships fully assembled with casters and leveling feet for rapid installation.

The SR12UBFFD is compatible with standard 19-inch rack servers, switches, UPS systems, industrial controllers, and network appliances. It is not intended for high-density hyperscale deployments requiring advanced thermal containment or deep enterprise server configurations exceeding the supported rack depth.
