Eaton SRX12UBFFD SmartRack 12U NEMA 12 Rack Enclosure

Detailed Specifications

The Eaton SRX12UBFFD is a robust 12U NEMA 12-rated server-depth rack enclosure cabinet, specifically engineered to safeguard critical IT infrastructure in challenging, non-IT environments. This SmartRack series enclosure is ideal for deployment in locations such as factories, construction sites, utility plants, or warehouses where traditional server rooms are impractical or unavailable. It provides essential protection against common environmental hazards like dirt, dust, lint, oil, and splashing liquids, ensuring the longevity and reliable operation of housed equipment. Featuring an IP54 protection rating, the SRX12UBFFD incorporates a pre-installed, replaceable air filter and louvered front door vents that actively prevent airborne contaminants and liquid ingress. Four high-performance intake fans are integrated into the front door, pulling filtered air through the cabinet to maintain optimal operating temperatures for installed components. Its heavy-duty steel construction further enhances durability, capable of supporting a significant load capacity, while adjustable vertical mounting rails accommodate a wide range of standard 19-inch rack equipment, including 1U servers, UPS systems, and network switches. Designed for flexible deployment and ease of management, this enclosure comes fully assembled, complete with removable casters and levelers for simple positioning. Dust- and drip-resistant cable ports facilitate organized wiring while preserving the cabinet's environmental integrity. The reversible front and rear doors, along with removable side panels, are all lockable, offering secure physical access control to prevent tampering or theft of sensitive equipment, making it a comprehensive solution for distributed IT needs in harsh settings.
