Eaton SR42UBCL SmartRack Co-Location 42U 2-Compartment Rack

Detailed Specifications

The Eaton SR42UBCL is a robust 42U co-location rack enclosure, meticulously engineered to address the critical need for secure, segregated IT infrastructure within shared environments. This specialized rack provides two distinct 20U compartments, enabling multiple users or departments to house their mission-critical equipment within a single footprint while maintaining strict physical separation and data integrity. It directly solves the challenge of optimizing floor space without compromising on individual tenant security or operational autonomy in data centers and enterprise IT environments. Designed for high-density applications, the SR42UBCL features perforated front and rear doors with an impressive 65%+ open space. This massive front-to-rear ventilation capacity ensures optimal airflow, effectively meeting or exceeding the demanding cooling requirements of modern servers and networking equipment. Each compartment is secured with its own combination lock, complete with a key override, bolstering physical security and preventing unauthorized access to sensitive hardware. Furthermore, the adjustable mounting rails accommodate equipment depths from 4 to 37 inches, offering versatility for a wide array of rack-mountable devices. The enclosure is optimized for seamless deployment within data centers, featuring a standard 24-inch width that allows for efficient integration into hot-aisle/cold-aisle configurations. It ships fully assembled on heavy-duty casters, facilitating rapid positioning and installation. Removable, half-size side panels simplify post-deployment servicing and access, while integrated baying tabs allow for easy combination of multiple cabinets in rows. The SR42UBCL adheres to PCI DSS compliance requirements, making it suitable for environments handling sensitive payment card data.
