It is deployed by IT infrastructure engineers, data center architects, and facilities teams to organize and secure equipment while accommodating side‑mounted accessories such as vertical PDUs and cable management channels.

This rack provides an extra‑wide internal width (~800 mm / ~31.5″) compared with standard 19″ racks, making it suitable for deeper cable bundles, side‑mounted cable managers, and vertical power distribution bars without crowding the equipment bay or restricting airflow.
