The Eaton SRQ18U is a half-height 18U rack enclosure designed for IT professionals deploying standard 19-inch rack-mount equipment in space-constrained or noise-sensitive environments. It supports equipment up to 37 in (≈940 mm) deep and provides sound-dampening features to reduce external noise by up to 28 dB. This makes it suitable for branch offices, studios, retail network closets or edges rather than full data centre aisles. It integrates into typical rack-infrastructure workflows and can be paired with cable management and environmental monitoring accessories.
