The unit uses R32 refrigerant with lower-GWP and meets modern energy and environmental compliance standards, making it suitable as a direct replacement for older 12,000 BTU units. Its self-contained design with built-in evaporator eliminates water collection tanks or external drainage — condensate is re-evaporated automatically, requiring minimal maintenance.
