The StarTech RK4242BK24 is a full-height 42U enclosed server rack cabinet designed for data center, network room, and enterprise IT deployments. It provides a secure and structured environment for mounting standard 19-inch rack equipment including servers, switches, patch panels, and power distribution units.

This cabinet supports a high static load capacity of approximately 3300 lbs, making it suitable for dense server deployments and fully populated racks. Adjustable mounting rails (approx. 5.2" to 35") allow flexibility for shallow to deep equipment, addressing compatibility across mixed hardware environments.

From a deployment standpoint, it is a floor-standing enclosure with integrated casters and leveling feet, enabling mobility during installation and stable positioning in production environments. Lockable front/rear doors and removable side panels provide controlled access while maintaining physical security.
