Overview
The TCL 65Q651G is part of TCL's Q Class QLED television range. Its 65-inch-class display combines Quantum Dot colour technology with a High Brightness+ LED backlight to deliver detailed images and vibrant colours. The FullView 360 metal bezel-less design provides a streamlined appearance suited to modern living rooms and entertainment spaces.
4K UHD Resolution and QLED Colour
The native 3840 × 2160 resolution provides four times the pixel count of Full HD. QLED Pro Quantum Dot technology expands colour reproduction, while the TCL AiPQ Processor uses picture processing to optimise colour, contrast, and clarity for compatible content.
HDR PRO+ Picture Technology
HDR PRO+ supports Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG. When compatible content is played, these formats can improve the presentation of highlights, shadows, and colour detail. The final viewing experience depends on the source material, application, and picture settings.
Motion Processing and Gaming
The 65Q651G features a native 60Hz panel with Motion Rate 240 processing and MEMC frame insertion. Auto Game Mode and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) help reduce processing delay when compatible gaming devices are connected. TCL also advertises Game Accelerator 120 for supported gaming modes; this should not be confused with a native 120Hz panel refresh rate.
Google TV Smart Platform
Google TV brings supported streaming applications and entertainment recommendations together in one interface. Google Assistant voice control and built-in Chromecast support provide convenient ways to search for content and cast compatible media. Apple AirPlay 2 is also listed for the Canadian regional model; availability may differ by region and firmware.
Audio Features
The television features 30W audio output from a two-speaker, 15W-per-channel configuration. Dolby Atmos processing and DTS Virtual:X support help create a more immersive sound presentation with compatible content. HDMI eARC and optical digital audio output provide connection options for compatible external audio equipment.
