This MPU enables the 7510X chassis to deliver its full potential. When two R8N50A units are installed, the system achieves a total switching capacity of up to 9.6 Tbps and a packet forwarding rate of up to 7,200 MPPS. This is accomplished through its advanced architecture that supports high-speed communication between line cards, ensuring low latency and high throughput for demanding applications like video, IoT, and high-density 100GbE deployments.
