TRENDnet TPL-407E2K Powerline 500 AV Adapter Kit
Overview :
The TRENDnet TPL-407E2K is a Powerline 500 AV Adapter Kit designed to create a high-speed network using a building's existing electrical wiring. This kit is ideal for homes and offices where Wi-Fi signals are weak or unreliable, providing a stable wired connection without the need to run new Ethernet cables. It effectively solves connectivity challenges in environments with thick walls or multiple floors that typically interfere with wireless networking signals. This kit includes two Powerline adapters that establish a secure, encrypted network with theoretical speeds of up to 500 Mbps. A key feature is the integrated electrical outlet on the face of each adapter, ensuring that the wall socket remains available for other devices. An advanced noise filter is built-in to maintain optimal connection speeds by mitigating electrical interference from other appliances, ensuring consistent performance for demanding applications. Deployment is straightforward: one adapter connects to the router, and the second is plugged into any electrical outlet where network access is needed. The compact, wall-mounted adapters feature a simple one-touch Sync button to establish a secure, 128-bit AES encrypted connection between them. This plug-and-play solution is designed for immediate use, making it an efficient choice for extending network access for gaming consoles, smart TVs, and workstations.
