Overview

The Eaton 9PXPPDM2 is a 208 V PowerPass distribution module designed as an accessory for larger Eaton 9PX online UPS systems. IT engineers and data center technicians deploy this module to distribute conditioned UPS output power to downstream devices and to facilitate safe service or maintenance transitions without interrupting protected loads. It is used where hardwired input and output termination is required, such as in structured 208 V rack power environments.

This module provides hardwired input and output connections, enabling integration with branch circuit infrastructure and load distribution panels. It supports 208/240 V single‑phase power and is engineered to deliver multiple load feeds via terminal block wiring and distribution paths appropriate for high‑availability IT racks.

The 9PXPPDM2 occupies 3U of rack space in a standard 19‑inch equipment rack. It integrates with Eaton UPS systems rated 5 kVA, 6 kVA, and 3.3 kVA (with hardwired UPS configurations), allowing it to be positioned above or alongside the UPS and related power components in IDF/MDF closets, network integration racks, or small data center deployments.

Electrical integration requires connection to a dedicated 208 V branch circuit with appropriate overcurrent protection, and loads are distributed from this module to downstream circuits via hardwired terminations. In a typical deployment, the 9PXPPDM2 is installed directly above a UPS in a rack row and wired to the upstream panel.
