Overview
The TRENDnet TI-SG104 is an industrial-grade Gigabit Ultra PoE (UPoE) splitter designed to deliver network connectivity and electrical power to non-PoE devices in harsh environments. It solves the common infrastructure challenge of deploying devices like IP cameras, access points, or VoIP phones in locations that lack available power outlets. By tapping into a single IEEE 802.3bt UPoE network cable, it intelligently separates the incoming signal into a Gigabit data output and a dedicated, adjustable DC power source, extending network capabilities without the cost of running new electrical wiring.
