APC AP8653 Metered Rack PDU

Overview

The APC AP8653 is a metered rack power distribution unit designed to distribute single‑phase AC power while providing real‑time load data. It accepts a 30 A, 208 V single‑phase input and supplies power through twenty‑four IEC 60320 C13 outlets and six IEC 60320 C19 outlets suitable for servers, switches, and storage gear. The vertical Zero U form factor installs in the rear channel of standard 19″ racks, conserving usable rack space for active equipment. It is deployed in data centers, enterprise racks, and telecom closets where basic metering without switching or outlet control helps with load balancing and capacity management.
