APC AP7530 is a basic power distribution unit (PDU) engineered to extend a single mains branch circuit into multiple AC receptacles for rack‑mounted IT equipment. It is specified for data center, network, and facilities engineers who need high‑density outlet provisioning without metering or remote control in standard rack enclosures. The design solves the need for organized, accessible AC distribution within vertical rack channels while preserving usable rack space.

The PDU accepts a NEMA L5‑20P locking input connection and distributes power to twenty‑four NEMA 5‑20R outlets. It operates on nominal 120 V AC with a maximum line current rating of 20 A, yielding a load capacity of approximately 1.92 kVA. The integrated power cord extends about 3.05 m (10 ft), enabling flexible reach to the building branch feed or UPS outputs in typical IT rooms.

AP7530’s zero‑U vertical mounting avoids consuming horizontal rack space, making it suitable for dense 19″ EIA‑310 environments where outlet density must be maximized without sacrificing equipment capacity.
