Overview

The APC AP9559 is a basic rack‑mount power distribution unit (PDU) designed to deliver reliable AC power to multiple rack‑mount devices in data centers, server rooms, and network closets. It distributes up to 3.68 kVA (16 A) of power from a single feed to twelve outlets, supporting 208 V and 230 V environments.

Featuring ten IEC C13 and two IEC C19 outlets, the AP9559 enables versatile connectivity for servers, switches, storage, and other IT equipment. Its 1U horizontal form factor fits standard racks and provides convenient access to outlets close to connected loads.

The unit is intended for basic power distribution where advanced metering or switched control is not required. It is not suitable for environments needing outlet‑level switching, remote monitoring, or intelligent load management.
