The Eaton EVMAL620A is a G4-generation single-phase managed rack power distribution unit designed for large-scale distributed IT infrastructure, colocation server environments, and enterprise data centers. It gives system operators comprehensive control over computing enclosures by providing real-time electrical telemetry combined with automated management capabilities. This hardware directly resolves the continuous operational liabilities of unauthorized outlet configurations, device overloads, and unexpected down-time by allowing isolated outlet reboots without visiting the site.

On a technical level, this unit accepts an input voltage envelope spanning 100V to 240V, supporting a continuous current rating of 16A alongside an aggregate power capacity of 3.8kW. The power terminal interface contains 24 total high-retention outlets, divided evenly into 12 standard C13 outlets and 12 flexible C39 combo outlets that natively fit both C14 and C20 equipment connections. System management, control logic, and diagnostic tracking are anchored by an embedded, hot-swappable Gigabit Network Module (GNM) implementing independent switching, metering, and threshold logging at every individual socket.
