Overview

The Eaton EVMI8365X is a G4-generation three-phase metered input rack power distribution unit built for high-density enterprise data centers, large-scale colocation spaces, and distributed IT infrastructure. Purpose-engineered to provide real-time input telemetry, this hardware allows infrastructure engineers to monitor load metrics directly at the rack. It resolves the widespread operational challenges of phase imbalance, local circuit overloads, and unexpected downtime during hardware integration phases.

Operating on a 208V three-phase Delta configuration, the PDU handles an input current rating of 50A (40A maximum continuous output per phase), yielding a total operating power capacity of 14.4kW. The outlet topology contains 42 total receptacles organized into 24 standard C13 outlets and 18 multi-plug C39 combo outlets that accommodate both C14 and C20 connections natively. Control operations are driven by a hot-swappable Gigabit Network Module (GNM) that provides a multi-color touchscreen LCD interface alongside secure network access via Web, SNMP, CLI, and REST APIs.

This hardware uses a 0U vertical orientation, installing flush into the rear structural channels of standard 42U or greater server enclosures via factory-installed aluminum shoulder mounting buttons.
