The StarTech 2030B8H-RACK-PDU-IC is a specialized 1U rack-mount power distribution unit designed for IT professionals who require granular control over their equipment's power supply. It solves the challenge of managing multiple devices in a server rack by providing eight independent power switches, allowing for the rebooting or toggling of specific hardware without affecting the rest of the rack's power state.

Housed in a ruggedized steel chassis, this PDU features eight NEMA 5-15R outlets on the rear, each corresponding to a lighted rocker switch on the front panel. This front-facing control scheme is ideal for troubleshooting network switches, servers, or audio-visual equipment in dark server rooms. The unit is equipped with a 15A built-in circuit breaker to protect connected gear from power overloads and surges.

Optimized for data centers, server rooms, and broadcast studios, the 2030B8H-RACK-PDU-IC fits into any standard 19-inch rack or cabinet. It includes a 6ft (1.8m) power cord to reach distant wall outlets. It is not recommended for high-density blade servers or enterprise UPS systems that exceed a 15A total load, nor is it intended for remote IP-based power management as it relies on physical manual switching.
