Overview

The Eaton PDUMH15NET is a fully managed, switched rack-mount PDU designed for critical IT infrastructure where remote control, real-time monitoring and precision power management are required. It fits into 1 U of rack space and supports single-phase 120 V input via a NEMA 5-15P plug with an attached 12 ft (3.66 m) cord, rated nominally at 15 A but agency-derated to 12 A continuous (~1.44 kW capacity)Internally it offers 16 switched NEMA 5-15R outlets (8 on the front, 8 rear) allowing granular power control such as individual outlet reboot, scheduled power-on/off, load-shedding and outlet lock-out. The built-in LX platform interface (pre-installed WEBCARDLX) supports web, SNMP, SSH, Telnet and other remote management protocols, making this PDU suitable for data centre racks, remote racks, branch offices or any installation where equipment uptime and visibility matter.In a deployment scenario you might use this unit in a network closet with servers, switches and storage gear: mount it horizontally in the rack, connect your main UPS feed via the 12 ft cord, then plug your devices into the switched outlets. Use the web interface to turn off unused equipment automatically at night, reboot hung network devices remotely, and monitor total current draw to ensure circuit capacity is not exceeded before a branch breaker trips. The 1U footprint means you save rack height for actual equipment rather than distribution hardware.
