Overview

The Eaton EVMAGU23A-E is a high-end managed rack PDU designed for IT racks where you want full visibility, control and flexibility of power distribution. It features a universal input interface that supports everything from single-phase low-kW loads up to three-phase large-kW feeds (up to ~23 kW) depending on the input cable selected. It comes with 24 outlets — specifically 12 IEC C13 outlets and 12 high-retention C39 combo outlets (which accept both C14 and C20 plugs) — giving you flexibility in gear connected and reducing number of PDUs required.The chassis is a 0U vertical mount format (≈ 55.9″ high by ~2″ wide) so it mounts cleanly in a standard 42U (or taller) rack alongside other equipment without consuming rack-U for the PDU itself. It is built for managed deployments: outlet-level metering and switching, hot-swappable network module, advanced cyber-security (chain-of-trust, zero-touch provisioning) and full remote control capability — meaning you can monitor and reboot individual devices remotely instead of walking the rack. In practice this PDU is a strong choice when you have a rack of mixed equipment, global deployments (since input cables can be swapped for local plug standards), and you want full control of racks in remote locations or distributed edge sites. The universal-input approach means you don’t need separate PDUs for each region or input phase.
