Overview

The APC SBP1500RM is a rack‑mount service bypass power distribution unit (PDU) designed to support APC Smart‑UPS and InfraStruXure UPS systems by providing a means to transfer loads and maintain continuity during UPS maintenance or replacement. It distributes AC power through eight NEMA 5‑15R receptacles while isolating the UPS from the critical load during service bypass operations.

Engineered for server rooms, data centers, and network closets, this 2U PDU simplifies maintenance workflows and reduces downtime risk by allowing seamless load routing around UPS units. It is not intended as a primary UPS or as a managed/switched PDU.
