The Eaton Tripp Lite N254-048-SH-6A is a 1U rack-mount feed-through patch panel designed for high-density network deployments, intended for network engineers managing structured cabling in data centres, enterprise closets, or campus backbone racks. It provides 48 fully shielded RJ-45 coupler jacks (front and rear) in a slim 1U form factor, eliminating the need for 110 punch-down terminations and simplifying Cat6a installations. The patch panel supports Cat6a specifications and is rated for 10 Gbps Ethernet performance, enabling integration into 10G infrastructure. It mounts in a standard 19-inch rack and includes a detachable cable-management bar and grounding wire, making it suitable for managed rack or cabinet environments.
