Overview :

The Eaton N482TAP-4MM73M8 is a passive fiber TAP cassette designed for network engineers to monitor multimode optical links without disrupting the primary traffic. It supports 40 / 100 Gb links via OM4 multimode fibre and splits the optical signal at a 70/30 ratio: 70 % to the live link, 30 % to the monitoring port. This cassette installs into the N482-series enclosures and is suitable for deployment in data-centre, campus or edge fiber racks. It integrates seamlessly with Eaton/Tripp Lite N482 enclosures and compatible MTP/MPO cabling infrastructure.
