TRENDnet TI-CA3K Weatherproof Outdoor Power Enclosure
Overview :
The TRENDnet TI-CA3K is an industrial-grade, outdoor weatherproof enclosure designed to protect sensitive networking equipment in harsh environments. This unit is engineered for deployments where network devices require protection from the elements, such as jobsites, transportation yards, or any exposed outdoor installation. It provides a secure, sealed housing for TRENDnet industrial switches, PoE injectors, and fiber converters, ensuring operational integrity against extreme conditions. At its core, the TI-CA3K combines a rugged IP68-rated polycarbonate housing with an integrated 200W power supply. This design simplifies outdoor deployments by delivering both physical protection and reliable power from a single solution. The enclosure also features built-in 20kA surge protection, safeguarding connected devices from electrical surges and transients that are common in outdoor settings. With an extreme operating temperature range of -30° to 70° C (-22° to 158° F), this enclosure is built for reliability in both intensely hot and cold climates. The wall-mountable design includes 11 cable glands for secure entry points and a waterproof door lock, offering a complete solution for deploying and protecting mission-critical network infrastructure outdoors.
