Samsung OH55DX‑S is a 55‑inch Full‑HD outdoor commercial display engineered for 24/7 digital signage and high‑ambient‑light environments such as building exteriors, transit hubs, and outdoor advertising. It uses a VA LCD panel with sustained 3,500 nits brightness and 4,000 nits peak to maintain legible content even under direct sunlight. Certified for outdoor use with IP56 weatherproofing and IK10 impact resistance, it’s built to operate reliably through dust, rain, and physical stress.

The platform runs Tizen‑based signage OS with onboard content playback and supports wired control via HDBaseT, RS‑232, and RJ45, plus USB inputs for media. It is not designed for indoor hospitality TV use or broadcast‑grade calibration tasks and requires proper outdoor mounting hardware and service access planning.
