Overview :

This is an active copper direct‑attach cable engineered for high‑speed OSFP connections between networking devices. It is used by data center and enterprise networking engineers to achieve multi‑terabit interconnects over short distances. The cable supports up to 1600 Gbps aggregate throughput across both ends. It fits in top‑of‑rack or intra‑rack deployments where fiber isn’t required and provides lower latency and power consumption compared with equivalent optics. The cable integrates with OSFP‑compliant ports on switches, NICs, and SmartNIC platforms.
