Overview

The Eaton SR4POST58HD is a heavy-duty 4-post open frame rack designed for high-density IT infrastructure deployments requiring maximum vertical equipment capacity, airflow efficiency, and structural load handling.

It is commonly deployed in enterprise data centers, colocation facilities, telecom rooms, and large-scale server environments where large rack footprints and high equipment density are required.

The rack provides 58U of usable rack space with 19-inch EIA standard mounting and supports deep IT equipment installations up to approximately 35 inches. Its open-frame architecture eliminates airflow restriction, making it suitable for high-thermal-load environments and hot-aisle/cold-aisle layouts.

The structure is built from cold-rolled steel with a bolt-together sfelf-squaring design, allowing multiple racks to be bayed together for scalable infrastructure rows. It supports both static and rolling loads up to 3000 lb, depending on configuration and installation method.

This model is not a sealed enclosure and is not suitable where physical security, dust isolation, or containment is required.
