Overview
The Ubiquiti ENVR-Core is a 3U enterprise network video recorder designed for large-scale UniFi Protect deployments. It provides 16 drive bays for 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch HDDs or SSDs, dual 25G SFP28 networking, redundant hot-swappable power supplies, and support for up to 300 4K cameras.
Enterprise Video Recording
ENVR-Core supports up to 500 HD, 400 2K, or 300 4K managed cameras. Its 16 internal drive bays provide high-capacity storage, while two SFF-8644 expansion ports allow the storage configuration to scale to as many as 48 total HDDs or SSDs when compatible expansion hardware is used.
High-Speed Networking
The recorder provides two 25G SFP28 ports supporting 25G, 10G, and 1G connectivity, plus a dedicated Gigabit Ethernet management port supporting 1G and 100M connections. The separate management interface provides out-of-band system management.
Redundant Power and Data Protection
Two hot-swappable 550W CRPS power supplies provide redundant AC power operation. The system supports configurable RAID storage protection and includes dedicated hardware for enterprise video recording and storage management.
