Overview :
The Eaton INDGW-M2 is a network management and industrial communications card that installs in the mini-slot of compatible UPS systems to provide Ethernet based monitoring and control. It is used by data center infrastructure engineers, facilities automation teams, and industrial IT staff to integrate UPS telemetry into building management systems (BMS) and network management systems (NMS) via standard industrial protocols. It solves the need for unified power and environmental visibility across distributed uninterruptible power systems.

Integration spans multiple UPS models × including Eaton 5P, 5PX, 9PX, 9SX, 93PM and 93E series × exposing UPS metrics to Eaton Intelligent Power Manager, SNMP managers, BACnet controllers, and BMS platforms. Optional environmental monitoring probes can attach to the card for temperature/humidity sensing and alerting.

It also supports orderly server shutdown scripting via Modbus or SNMP traps.
