Overview :

The Eaton 1014018 Relay Interface Card is a UPS communication accessory designed for legacy Eaton and Powerware UPS platforms requiring dry-contact relay communication. It enables shutdown signaling and UPS status monitoring for AS/400 systems, industrial controllers, and relay-based infrastructure where SNMP or Ethernet management is not required.

This relay interface module is intended for deployment in Powerware UPS systems equipped with X-Slot or BestDock communication interfaces. It supports remote shutdown signaling and serial relay-based communication for operational continuity in branch infrastructure, industrial automation, and legacy enterprise environments.

The card is compatible with select Eaton Powerware UPS families including the 9120, 9125, 9130, 9170+, 9330, and 9340 platforms depending on slot configuration. It is not intended for modern IP-based UPS monitoring environments that require SNMP, HTTPS, or centralized DCIM integration.
