Netgear RRSASEXP-10000S – Mini-SAS Expansion Module

Overview :

This is a Mini-SAS interface expansion card for ReadyNAS systems (RR3312, RR4312X, RR4312S). It enables the base NAS chassis to connect to external expansion enclosures (EDA2000 / EDA4000) to scale storage capacity. It supports backplane-level SAS connectivity with throughput sufficient for storage expansion. It is used primarily in data center, rack, or storage cluster contexts. It integrates transparently with Netgear’s ReadyNAS OS to appear as a unified storage pool.
