Overview
The Ubiquiti POE-15-12W is a 15V PoE adapter designed to power compatible Ubiquiti PoE devices. It provides 15V DC at 0.8A, for a 12W output, from a 100–240V AC input.
Power Delivery
The adapter uses 2-pair PoE with pins 4 and 5 positive and pins 7 and 8 negative. It does not support 4-pair powering and provides 15V DC at 0.8A.
Protection
POE-15-12W includes differential- and common-mode surge protection, 11V data and 60V power clamping protection, and an earth-grounded AC connection. Ubiquiti specifies a maximum surge discharge of 1500A for an 8/20 μs waveform and a peak data pulse current of 36A for a 10/1000 μs waveform.
Connectivity
The adapter uses a shielded RJ45 socket for the data input and PoE connection. The POE-15-12W does not provide a Gigabit LAN port or LAN activity indicator.
