Powered by the specialized Intel Ethernet Controller X710-TM4 chipset, this adapter enables native multi-rate auto-negotiation.It supports 10GbE, 5GbE, 2.5GbE, 1GbE, and 100Mb speeds across standard twisted-pair copper cables up to 100 meters. The hardware layer integrates Intel Virtualization Technology for Connectivity (Intel VT-c), optimizing hypervisor traffic processing by executing Virtual Machine Device Queues (VMDq) and Single Root I/O Virtualization (SR-IOV) tasks on-chip to conserve host core cycles.
