Overview
The HPE 701536-001 is a FlexFabric 20Gb 2-port 650FLB adapter designed for HPE ProLiant BladeSystem servers. This FlexibleLOM for Blade (FLB) network adapter addresses the demand for higher bandwidth and I/O consolidation in virtualized and converged data center environments. It solves the critical need for a high-performance interconnect that can handle LAN, SAN (FCoE, iSCSI), and RDMA traffic over a single, unified fabric, thereby reducing hardware complexity and cost. This adapter provides two ports of 20GbE, delivering an aggregate bidirectional throughput of 80 Gbps. Its performance is enhanced by advanced offload technologies, including RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCE), which lowers latency and frees up CPU cycles for applications. Tunnel Offload for VXLAN and NVGRE also accelerates overlay networking performance, enabling greater VM density and faster migrations in cloud and virtualized workloads. Designed for the FlexibleLOM slot on HPE BladeSystem Gen8, Gen9, and Gen10 servers, the 650FLB integrates seamlessly into the blade chassis architecture.
