Overview

The HPE P23842-001 is a high-bandwidth server adapter delivering two 100 Gb/s QSFP28 ports, designed for both Ethernet and InfiniBand EDR fabrics in enterprise and HPC environments. Installing in a PCI Express ×16 slot (or equivalent mezzanine) in compatible HPE servers, it provides full-line-rate dual uplinks for compute, storage or virtualised infrastructure nodes. Its support for NEtwork offloads, RDMA and high message-rate fabrics helps reduce CPU load and accelerate data movement between nodes, making it suitable for AI/ML clusters, high-performance storage fabrics and data-centre aggregation servers. The adapter supports dual 100 Gb links in one slot, simplifying cabling and port density in dense rack deployments.
