The HPEP51304‑001 is a quad‑port Gigabit Ethernet BASE‑T adapter powered by the Broadcom BCM5719 chipset,designed for seamless integration into HPEProLiant Gen10, Gen10+, and Gen11 series servers. Featuring four independent 1 Gbps RJ‑45 ports over a PCIe 2.0 ×4 interface, this adapter provides reliable and scalable network connectivity for virtualization, management traffic, or general-purpose data networks. Owing to its standard cabling compatibility with Cat‑5e/6, it is easy to deploy in existing server racks. Enterprise networking features such as RSS, TSO, flow control, IPv4/v6 support, PXE boot, and TCP segmentation offload (TSO) ensure efficient packet handling and reduced CPU load. At just ~5.8 W typical power consumption, it's ideal for power-sensitive deployments.

This network adapter uses the energy-efficient Broadcom BCM5719 network engine, supporting a fully hardware-assisted Gigabit Ethernet interface. It supports packet offloads including TCP Segmentation Offload (TSO), RSS (Receive Side Scaling), IPv4 and IPv6 protocols, flow control, and secure PXE boot support for BIOS and UEFI environments. The adapter is compatible with both legacy BIOS and UEFI boot, providing flexibility for cluster or remote deployment models.
