The ASUSTOR AX7012R is a high-density, 12-bay rackmount expansion unit designed to increase storage capacity for compatible ASUSTOR NAS devices. It provides enterprise-grade scalability for data centers and businesses needing to expand their existing storage pools without replacing core infrastructure.

The unit utilizes high-speed SAS/SATA connectivity to interface with the host NAS, supporting various RAID configurations to ensure data redundancy and performance. Its 2U rackmount design fits standard server racks, allowing for efficient space utilization in high-density environments. It features redundant power supplies to maintain high availability in mission-critical applications.

This expansion unit is designed exclusively for use with supported ASUSTOR NAS models. Note that drives installed in the expansion unit cannot be combined with internal drives of the host NAS within the same RAID array.
