Overview :

The ASUSTOR AS6804T (Lockerstor 4 Gen3) is a high-performance hybrid NAS designed for enterprise storage, virtualization, and high-throughput data workflows. It is widely deployed in media production, backup infrastructure, small-to-mid enterprise storage clusters, and edge data center environments requiring both NVMe acceleration and SATA capacity storage.

It combines 4 × SATA drive bays with 4 × M.2 NVMe slots, enabling tiered storage architectures where NVMe handles high-speed caching or primary workloads while HDDs provide scalable bulk storage. It is powered by an AMD Ryzen Embedded V3C14 quad-core processor and ECC DDR5 memory for data integrity and stable 24/7 operation.

The system supports high-bandwidth networking through dual 10GbE and dual 5GbE ports, making it suitable for multi-user file sharing, virtualization storage backends, and high-resolution media editing pipelines.

It is not suitable for lightweight home-only storage use where high throughput or multi-user access is not required.
