The ASUSTOR AS6704T V2, also known as the LOCKERSTOR 4 Gen2+, is a high-performance 4-bay NAS platform designed for business storage, content creation, virtualization, backup infrastructure, and collaborative file-sharing environments. It combines Intel x86 processing, NVMe SSD acceleration, and multi-gigabit networking in a compact desktop form factor.

Powered by an Intel Celeron N5105 quad-core processor operating at 2.0GHz with turbo frequencies up to 2.9GHz, the system delivers reliable performance for file services, multimedia applications, virtual machines, and business workloads. The platform includes 4GB DDR4 memory and supports expansion up to 16GB.

The NAS features four hot-swappable SATA III drive bays and four M.2 NVMe SSD slots that can be used for SSD caching or high-speed storage pools. Dual 5 Gigabit Ethernet ports support SMB Multichannel and provide significantly higher network throughput for demanding multi-user environments.

The AS6704T V2 is well suited for creative teams, small and medium businesses, private cloud deployments, and professional backup environments. It is not intended for organizations requiring rack-mounted storage systems or enterprise dual-controller architectures.
