Overview :

The ASUSTOR AS3304T V2, marketed as the DRIVESTOR 4 Pro Gen2, is a 4-bay NAS platform designed for centralized storage, backup, multimedia streaming, and private cloud deployments. It is intended for home users, content creators, remote offices, and small business environments that require scalable shared storage with RAID protection and multi-user access.

The system is powered by a Realtek RTD1619B quad-core 1.7GHz processor and 2GB DDR4 memory. It supports four SATA III drive bays and includes a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet interface to provide higher throughput than traditional Gigabit NAS devices. The platform supports Btrfs snapshots, hardware-assisted multimedia processing, and a wide range of backup applications.

Three USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports enable external storage connectivity and backup expansion. Support for RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, JBOD, and Single Disk configurations allows administrators to balance performance, capacity, and data protection requirements.

The AS3304T V2 is well suited for file sharing, surveillance storage, backup repositories, and personal cloud applications. It is not intended for virtualization-intensive workloads that require expandable memory or enterprise-class processor performance.
