Overview :

The StarTech PEX8S1050 is a high-density, professional-grade serial expansion card designed to provide stable, legacy connectivity for modern computer systems. This larger buffer significantly reduces the CPU overhead and prevents data loss during high-speed transmissions compared to standard 16C550 UARTs. The card supports data transfer rates up to 921.6Kbps and features native single-chip architecture, ensuring maximum compatibility and reliability by reducing the complexity of the PCIe-to-Serial bridge.
