Overview :
The Logitech M187 is an ultra-portable wireless optical mouse designed for mobile professionals, students, and users with limited workspace. Its primary function is to provide precise cursor control and reliable navigation in a compact form factor that traditional mice cannot offer. This device solves the challenge of working effectively on the go, replacing the often-unwieldy laptop touchpad with a familiar and accurate pointing device that can be easily transported in a pocket or laptop bag. Engineered for simplicity and reliability, the mouse operates on the 2.4 GHz wireless frequency via a nano USB receiver. This technology provides a stable, cord-free connection with a range of up to 10 meters (33 feet), ensuring immediate, responsive performance without delays or dropouts. The 1000 DPI optical sensor delivers smooth, precise tracking across a variety of surfaces, translating user hand movements into accurate cursor actions for efficient document navigation and web browsing. Deployment is straightforward: the plug-and-play nano receiver is small enough to leave in a laptop's USB port without obstruction. For transport, the receiver can be stored inside the mouse's internal compartment, which also houses the single AAA battery. The mouse's ambidextrous, extra-small design makes it a practical peripheral for any mobile workstation or minimalist desktop environment, requiring minimal setup and no additional software for core functionality.
